Annoureveye Blog: Let's Wake Up

It’s time for another funeral. One of my relatives has left the joys, as well as the troubles, of this life behind.
As we have been questioning our purpose for living, it may be a good time to reflect on the reason(s) we are still alive. A simple question: What are we supposed to achieve?
I have attended a few funerals lately; what does not cease to amaze me is the victory of life over death every time. The next time you go to a funeral, take the time to observe what happens at the repast/reception. Listen to the conversations, the laughter. The place is alive!
It becomes clearer to me, at a funeral, that there is still work for me to do. That’s why I am still around. What about you?
